Good morning. I'm back. I didn't plan on taking a blog-cation...it just sort of happened. I must say, it was rather lovely. The whole expanse of summer...undocumented...save a handful of instagram photos. I had a nice summer. I hope you did too.
This morning while looking in on the Etsy shops...I wound up on their blog, as I am often apt to do...and noticed this video. Very cool. An amazing interface, I think, of high and low tech.
....and don't come back til after the Springfield show!
Rain has been causing a bit of delay in many of the projects I've been working on for The Vintage Marketplace @ Springfield....so, I've come inside to work on price tags...cut, punch, string, knot...cut, punch, string, knot and repeat...and repeat...and repeat.....
One of the delayed projects is this set of HeyWooditedinette chairs. They have been sorely neglected over the years and I can't wait to see their finished makeover!
Come on sunshine!
Update: Here are the Hey Woodite chairs post makeover...looking good!
Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with gal pal Lisa Price of Vintage Goodies and Art Goodies. I'd always been curious about feedsack fabric and Lisa was the perfect person to hep me to it. She has an amazing stash and gave me a nice little tutorial on identification! Here's a little selection of some of my favorites...
Love those homey retro patterns!
Fabric from Lisa's stash often end up on items in her ArtGoodies shop...like the ties on this cute rooster apron...
